Dragons EC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Telmo Veloso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmílson Souza, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. A collision led to Granadero10 getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Tiago Sena hit a great ball. With 21 minutes on the clock, Michel Dias commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 21 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Dragons EC! Juan de Medeiros shot the penalty kick right outside the post. 24 minutes into the match, Dragons EC's goal looked a bit too open when Inácio Barbosa came free, but Telmo Veloso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rafa Soares charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rafa Soares the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 25 played minutes Dragons EC got a freekick which was hit by Rafa Soares. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilberto Trigo in the 26th minute of play forced Dragons EC's goalkeeper Telmo Veloso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gilberto Trigo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Inácio Barbosa took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Telmo Veloso. Telmo Veloso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. When Luisinho Vianna fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dragons EC's protests and gave Luisinho Vianna a yellow card for diving instead. Luisinho Vianna hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Telmo Veloso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmílson Souza, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. In the 38th minute Gilberto Trigo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Telmo Veloso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Gilberto Trigo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Telmo Veloso was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. Rafa Soares kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. In the 45th minute of the match Juan de Medeiros shot from a long distance. The Dragons EC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Granadero10 were winning 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gilberto Trigo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gilberto Trigo in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Telmo Veloso saved Dragons EC from getting behind. Gilberto Trigo might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Telmo Veloso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gilberto Trigo ran back to his position shaking his head. 59 minutes into the match, Dragons EC's goal looked a bit too open when Edmílson Souza came free, but Telmo Veloso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Granadero10's Tiago Sena got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A hard shot 67 in the game by Gilberto Trigo from a close distance when the talented Telmo Veloso managed to make a qualified save. Dragons EC's players were relieved. After 68th play minutes Gilberto Trigo shot 0-4, a short shot which went by Telmo Veloso and just under the crossbar into goal. Telmo Veloso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Betão Senna, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. If Inácio Barbosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 82 minutes into the match, Betão Senna dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Telmo Veloso, 0-5. 0-6 became the score in the 86th minute when Betão Senna elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Telmo Veloso made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Gilberto Trigo sent off a good shot on target. When Gilberto Trigo came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Granadero10 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gilberto Trigo couldn't finish the play. When the final whistle sounded Granadero10 left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Dragons EC.
