After a rather tough play, Portugal's Caetano Moreira got a free kick in the 9th minute. Wagner Kill shot from long distance after 10 played minutes, a shot that Wilson Amorim with certain difficulty stopped from going in under the crossbar. Daniel Pimentel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Grzegorz Szamotulski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 16 played minutes Diablofaryd F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Chan Cho. In the 30th minute Felipe Barreto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Grzegorz Szamotulski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Viriato Moura took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Grzegorz Szamotulski. Grzegorz Szamotulski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 38thth minute of the game Felipe Barreto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Diablofaryd F.C.'s Grzegorz Szamotulski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 38th minute, Viriato Moura left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Portugal fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Wilson Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gunnar Deisler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wagner Kill was the one to do the kick off. The Diablofaryd F.C. fans' excitement grew in the 53rd match minute when Diablofaryd F.C.'s Benicio Maurin looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Portugal's attentive Felipe Barreto managed to snatch the ball when Benicio Maurin made a throw-in in the 57th minute of the game. In the 78th match minute, Diablofaryd F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zsombor Sass to maneuver through the defense. Bartolomeu Dias who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 79thth minute tested the skills of Grzegorz Szamotulski when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 80th minute Gunnar Deisler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wagner Kill in the 84th minute of play. The throw-in from Benicio Maurin in the 92nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Portugal's Fabricio Andrade. In the 94th minute Bartolomeu Dias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Grzegorz Szamotulski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Portugal's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Pimentel in the 95th minute. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
