Spyros Kofinas received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Frank Sachs to strike the kick off in the second half. Tommy Kahn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cosme Cruz's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Uriel Bermudez in the 55th minute of the match. Kazimierz Damazki took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. After some careless play in the Germany defense, Cosme Cruz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. The Germany fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tommy Kahn should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, liverpool team's Ginyo Garvanski got control of the ball when Frank Sachs tried to sneak it across the goal line. Frank Sachs was extremely unlucky when he, in the 66th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Zygmunt Budacz made in the 69th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Germany's Albin Holweck. 73 minutes into the game, liverpool team's Uriel Bermudez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Malte Schiele hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. In the 92nd minute, Uriel Bermudez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 94th minute Cosme Cruz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. liverpool team had played much better football throughout.
