Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Frank Sachs kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd minute, Marcus Rush got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In a very dangerous position, a player in Germany fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 5th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Tommy Kahn, was totally fooled by Cosmos Soccer Club's Waldo Bean, who 7 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Dan Gheară showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Sachs, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. In the 14th minute Germany were awarded a corner. Frank Sachs went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Malte Schiele got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Dan Gheară quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 18th minute, Willy Stieler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 19 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Ivan Ţopescu came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 22nd minute Frank Sachs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dan Gheară saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Sachs in the 24th minute of play forced Cosmos Soccer Club's goalkeeper Dan Gheară to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dan Gheară showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Sachs, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Harvey Flynn hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. In the 34th minute, Grant McKay made a precise shot to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. After a rather tough play, Germany's Willy Stieler got a free kick in the 44th minute.

In the 53rd minute Frank Sachs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dan Gheară saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 58 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Germany! In the 59th minute there was a penalty for Cosmos Soccer Club. Waldo Bean stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Tommy Kahn. 3-0. 姜永洲 took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. After 69 minutes of play, Cosmos Soccer Club's Marcus Rush made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tommy Kahn was left in no man's land by his defense there! Frank Sachs who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 74thth minute tested the skills of Dan Gheară when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The supporters of Germany booed when Cosmos Soccer Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcus Rush didn't get a good kick on the ball. Grant McKay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Grant McKay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 86th minute, Albin Holweck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Sachs in the 93rd minute of play forced Cosmos Soccer Club's goalkeeper Dan Gheară to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Cosmos Soccer Club's 姜永洲 in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Germany's goalie prevented a goal. In the 96th minute, Albin Holweck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cosmos Soccer Club's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
