When Dimitris Papaggelatos came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Bitelon FC - SAF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dimitris Papaggelatos couldn't finish the play. Bitelon FC - SAF's attentive Geovânio Rosa managed to snatch the ball when Malte Schiele made a throw-in in the 39th minute of the game. 叶凌宁 might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tommy Kahn. The audience thought a goal was coming when Durval Recife got free with Tommy Kahn in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Bert Greenan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dimitris Papaggelatos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 62 minutes into the game, Hortêncio Soares was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player.
