Campanar City's Santo Incera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 3rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Italy's Zena Busacca got a free kick in the 5th minute. Italy's Flavio Vittori proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Italy from getting a goal against them. After 8 minutes, Mateo Pastor mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Campanar City and the Italy players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Campanar City's Mateo Pastor got a free kick in the 9th minute. In the 15th minute Zaccheo Andolina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santo Incera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 28 minutes into the match, Campanar City's goal looked a bit too open when Sigfrido Auletta came free, but Santo Incera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when John Guidetti got free with Flavio Vittori in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Santo Incera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zaccheo Andolina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 33 minutes into the match, Campanar City's goal looked a bit too open when Zaccheo Andolina came free, but Santo Incera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Flavio Vittori made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when John Guidetti sent off a good shot on target. In the 44th minute, Porziano Marchitelli got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 47th match minute, Campanar City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santi Urbieta to maneuver through the defense. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and John Guidetti made a kick off. With a little luck, Campanar City's Santo Incera got control of the ball when Porziano Marchitelli tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Campanar City getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Mateo Pastor hit a great ball. Campanar City's Francesc Tamari was substituted for John Guidetti. In the 57th minute, Mateo Pastor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 58 played minutes Campanar City got a freekick which was hit by Zacarías Font. Thanks to some nice moves Zaccheo Andolina could shoot a difficult shot in the 60th minute, which Santo Incera however easily saved by the left post. Flavio Vittori showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wei Qi Yi in the 64th minute of the match. Campanar City were furious when Lorenz Romero was red carded, 68 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 69th match minute, Campanar City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lorenz Romero to maneuver through the defense. If Sigfrido Auletta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Zaccheo Andolina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Flavio Vittori showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wei Qi Yi, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. After 82 played minutes Italy got a freekick which was hit by Siricio Liotta. Italy's Sansone Vanella was substituted for Gianpaolo Mascari. Italy's Guiscardo Davide was substituted for Sigfrido Auletta. Italy made a substitution. Adriano Curto replaced Zaccheo Andolina. In the 83rd match minute, Italy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Siricio Liotta to maneuver through the defense. Italy's Siricio Liotta managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Santi Urbieta in the 85 minute of the game. Santo Incera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guiscardo Davide in the 90th minute of play. After 91 minutes, Deodato Magliozzi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Italy and the Campanar City players grew even worse after the yellow card. 90 minutes into the game, one of Italy:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adriano Curto got free with Santo Incera in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Campanar City fans cheered their team off the field, for while Italy had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
