Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Clapham Comets F.C.'s Piers Nethercot started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Hungary's Antal Valentin broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Balazs Lajos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 12 minutes into the match, Hungary's Antal Valentin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Conan Shields narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Hungary's Balazs Lajos in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Clapham Comets F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to Hungary getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Takacs Tibor hit a great ball. 21 minutes into the match, Clapham Comets F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Antal Valentin came free, but Conan Shields reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 24 minutes, Takacs Tibor managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hungary's supporters crossed their fingers, but Takacs Tibor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Conan Shields showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Major Barna, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Antal Valentin took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Conan Shields. Conan Shields dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 31st minute, Vinnie Small hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Clapham Comets F.C.'s Conan Shields played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Balazs Lajos in the 32nd minute of play. In the 33rd minute Hungary were awarded a corner. Antal Valentin went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led to Hungary's Vörös Henrik getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Conan Shields showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Major Barna, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. In the 40th minute, Vinnie Small hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Major Barna recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Clapham Comets F.C.'s Conan Wiseman got a free kick in the 56th minute. With his leg Conan Shields managed to avoid a goal in the 61stth minute, when Hungary's Antal Valentin fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Balazs Lajos came free with the goalkeeper in the 64th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Conan Shields could save by the left post. The audience was convinced that Leigh Case's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fodor Daniel was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. Clapham Comets F.C.'s Conan Wiseman got his second yellow card of the match in the 66th minute. The referee ordered Conan Wiseman off the ground. Conan Shields showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Major Barna in the 87th minute of the match. In the 90th match minute, Hungary was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Major Barna to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Major Barna in the 95th minute of play forced Clapham Comets F.C.'s goalkeeper Conan Shields to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
