In the 65th minute of the match Carpathian Wolves got a corner. Spain's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mugur Timofte ran over to the corner to take the kick. David Aranda could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Olimpiu Hârlău made a huge save. Olimpiu Hârlău took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Omar Toledo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 89thth minute of the game Sergio Ruiz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Carpathian Wolves's Olimpiu Hârlău was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 92nd minute, Maxim Urderean got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Carpathian Wolves's Olimpiu Hârlău played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carles Cherro in the 94th minute of play.
