Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Omar Toledo to make the kick off. Omar Toledo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Derman Soysaldı made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Carles Cherro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Derman Soysaldı was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Spain's zone, Winnie Winger stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gabriel Ascaso came out of the goal and Winnie Winger tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 95 minutes into the match, Sergio Ruiz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Derman Soysaldı. ◄▌Anatolia Athletic▐►'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sergio Ruiz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. The ◄▌Anatolia Athletic▐► fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Spain were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
