Bahtiyar Çeliktaş started the match with the kick off. Recep Talha Eraltay charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Recep Talha Eraltay the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Bordo Mavi getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Recep Talha Eraltay hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Bordo Mavi's Bekir Zühtü slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Fodor Daniel. That made the score 1-0 after 8 minutes of play. Hegedus Henrik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fodor Daniel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bahtiyar Çeliktaş in the 19th minute. In the 27th minute, Antal Valentin made a precise shot to the right of Aytaç Dilsafa. Bordo Mavi's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Bordo Mavi's Bahtiyar Çeliktaş got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Major Barna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bahtiyar Çeliktaş could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Fodor Daniel made a huge save. Fodor Daniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bahtiyar Çeliktaş in the 44th minute of the match. If Major Barna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Antal Valentin to strike the kick off in the second half. Takacs Tibor charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Takacs Tibor hit a great ball. In the 60th minute Bahtiyar Çeliktaş shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Antal Valentin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Aytaç Dilsafa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Bahtiyar Çeliktaş had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bekir Zühtü took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fodor Daniel. Fodor Daniel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bekir Zühtü in the 87th minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 95 minutes, Zühtü Sualp mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bordo Mavi and the Hungary players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 95th match minute, Bordo Mavi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zühtü Sualp to maneuver through the defense. Many of Hungary's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Hungary may have spent more time on the ball, but Bordo Mavi were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
