Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tibor Pucheli in the 5th minute of play. The supporters of Hungary booed when FlagellumDei was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Károly Berta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fodor Daniel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vencel Sarkady in the 11th minute. Antal Valentin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Antal Valentin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Siro Osasun read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. After 16 played minutes FlagellumDei got a freekick which was hit by Lukács Baróti. Hegedus Henrik hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Félix Moravecz in the 19th minute of play. The FlagellumDei fans' excitement grew in the 21st match minute when FlagellumDei's Félix Moravecz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zoltán Kozák in the 25th minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FlagellumDei's Lukács Baróti pulled a muscle in his leg after 30 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Antal Valentin fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hungary's protests and gave Antal Valentin a yellow card for diving instead. FlagellumDei made a substitution. Félix Simon replaced Lukács Baróti. The supporters of FlagellumDei booed when Hungary was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antal Valentin didn't get a good kick on the ball. 33 minutes into the game, Takacs Tibor cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Siro Osasun was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gábor Puskás hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. FlagellumDei's Siro Osasun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antal Valentin in the 38th minute of play. Hungary's Antal Valentin got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Antal Valentin scored 2-2 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Siro Osasun, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Major Barna could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Siro Osasun made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Félix Moravecz in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fodor Daniel saved Hungary from getting behind. 58 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Zoltán Kozák came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vencel Sarkady's late challenge caught a Hungary's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vencel Sarkady helped the player get up and apologised. In the 59th match minute, FlagellumDei was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vencel Sarkady to maneuver through the defense. When Balazs Lajos came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Hungary fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Balazs Lajos couldn't finish the play. Balazs Lajos who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 67thth minute tested the skills of Siro Osasun when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Félix Simon during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Major Barna received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Siro Osasun came out and tried to block the shot, but Major Barna slotted it home off the left post making it 2-3 in the 69th minute. Zoltán Kozák fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fodor Daniel having to interfere. With a little luck, FlagellumDei's Siro Osasun got control of the ball when Major Barna tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 79 minutes, Félix Moravecz made it 3-3 with a short kick to the right side. Hungary's Fodor Daniel tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Major Barna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antal Valentin got free with Siro Osasun in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
