Hungary's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Antal Valentin in the 5th minute. Major Barna made a great header on Hungary's corner, it was just that Carp Team's Calistrat Bordeianu managed to reach the ball for a save. 9 minutes into the match, Antal Valentin notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Carp Team's Calistrat Bordeianu. Calistrat Bordeianu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Major Barna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. Hungary's Major Barna got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 31 minutes into the match, Carp Team's goal looked a bit too open when Antal Valentin came free, but Calistrat Bordeianu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hungary's Fodor Daniel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Hungary from getting a goal against them. Calistrat Bordeianu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antal Valentin, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Through an outstanding action, after 37 minutes, Fodor Daniel successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gelu Zglobiu to make the kick off. Calistrat Bordeianu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Takacs Tibor in the 51st minute of play. Antal Valentin's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Calistrat Bordeianu firmly grabbed it by the left post. When Bakos Endre fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hungary's protests and gave Bakos Endre a yellow card for diving instead. If Balazs Lajos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gelu Zglobiu in the 60th minute of play. Carp Team's Calistrat Bordeianu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Carp Team from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antal Valentin got free with Calistrat Bordeianu in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Nichifor Boaru fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Carp Team's protests and gave Nichifor Boaru a yellow card for diving instead. Nichifor Boaru kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Antal Valentin who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 73rdth minute tested the skills of Calistrat Bordeianu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With his leg Calistrat Bordeianu managed to avoid a goal in the 77thth minute, when Hungary's Major Barna fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Thanks to some nice moves Balazs Lajos could shoot a difficult shot in the 80th minute, which Calistrat Bordeianu however easily saved by the left post. Major Barna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Calistrat Bordeianu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Hungary getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Szekeres Tamas hit a great ball. Fodor Daniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gelu Zglobiu in the 84th minute of the match. 88 minutes into the match, Hungary's Antal Valentin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Calistrat Bordeianu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Major Barna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Otto Veispak during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 92nd match minute, Carp Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Otto Veispak to maneuver through the defense. Antal Valentin struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Calistrat Bordeianu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hungary. After a rather tough play, Carp Team's Gogo Merexildo got a free kick in the 94th minute.
