Wilson Amorim was a little too slow when Marciano Min got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 5th minute. The score was now 1-0. 8 minutes into the match, Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marciano Min. Marciano Min fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilson Amorim having to interfere. Napoleon Dziedelonis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Pimentel in the 18th minute of the match. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 29th minute of the match Portugal got a corner. Zuberbühler FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Felipe Barreto ran over to the corner to take the kick. 34 minutes into the match, Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marciano Min. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felipe Barreto in the 37th minute of play forced Zuberbühler FC's goalkeeper Napoleon Dziedelonis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Portugal fans' excitement grew in the 40th match minute when Portugal's Felipe Barreto looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Zuberbühler FC made a substitution. Jonathan Iruinea replaced Marciano Min. Zuberbühler FC's Florentino Lastur was substituted for Cirilo Ebardo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabricio Andrade in the 54th minute of play forced Zuberbühler FC's goalkeeper Napoleon Dziedelonis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 55 minutes had been played when some careless play by Zuberbühler FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Felipe Barreto was slow to take the kick. During this time Portugal's players had a chance to rest. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Saul Baumer in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wilson Amorim prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After taking down the ball on Zuberbühler FC's corner Jonathan Iruinea fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Wilson Amorim quite easily take care of the ball. Napoleon Dziedelonis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Viriato Moura, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abelardo Nardo in the 70th minute of play. Zuberbühler FC made a substitution. Saul Lamberto replaced Mariano Berart. Wilson Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florentino Lastur, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. 78 minutes into the match, Zuberbühler FC's goalkeeper Napoleon Dziedelonis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felipinho Amorim. Napoleon Dziedelonis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bartolomeu Dias in the 81st minute of play. Napoleon Dziedelonis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Pimentel in the 83rd minute of the match. In the 84th minute Florentino Lastur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 85th minute Caetano Moreira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Napoleon Dziedelonis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felipinho Amorim in the 87th minute of play forced Zuberbühler FC's goalkeeper Napoleon Dziedelonis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Bartolomeu Dias kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Napoleon Dziedelonis. That made the score 2-2 in the 95 minute of play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
