The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th match minute, Pesqueira City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emilio Ramone to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Benjamin da Fonseca's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Casper Claes was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. In the 13th minute Simon Sabbe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeremias Orland saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Casper Claes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benjamin da Fonseca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Belgium's Casper Claes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benjamin da Fonseca in the 17th minute of play. Jeremias Orland made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edward Vanderstraeten in the 18th minute of play. Jeremias Orland took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edward Vanderstraeten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Casper Claes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benjamin da Fonseca, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Jeremias Orland showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yves Dervaux in the 24th minute of the match. Sebastião Quintal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Casper Claes made a huge save. Pesqueira City's Jeremias Orland played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sander Dermaut in the 27th minute of play. Edward Vanderstraeten spun around in front of the goal 29 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Pesqueira City's goal. Pesqueira City's Jeremias Orland played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 45th minute of play. In the 45th match minute, Pesqueira City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Izydor Ogrodowicz to maneuver through the defense. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

In the 53rd minute, Izydor Ogrodowicz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 56th match minute, Pesqueira City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Francisco Tande to maneuver through the defense. José Pedro Borges hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Edward Vanderstraeten recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The corner led Pesqueira City's João Francisco Tande to fire away a dangerous shot which Casper Claes despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 68 minutes into the match, Belgium's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamin da Fonseca came free, but Casper Claes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jeremias Orland made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Edward Vanderstraeten sent off a good shot on target. In the 75th match minute, Belgium was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laurens Vandamme to maneuver through the defense. Pesqueira City made a substitution. Oséias Sabóia replaced Filiph Låsberg. In the 76th match minute, Belgium was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laurens Vandamme to maneuver through the defense. In the 77th minute of the match Sebastião Quintal shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Casper Claes showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benjamin da Fonseca in the 80th minute of play forced Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Casper Claes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benjamin da Fonseca, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Casper Claes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benjamin da Fonseca's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. Casper Claes came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Pesqueira City's Sebastião Quintal. But to his dismay, Sebastião Quintal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Pesqueira City's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
