Belgium's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Benjamin da Fonseca was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. 6 minutes into the match, Pesqueira City's goal looked a bit too open when Edward Vanderstraeten came free, but Jeremias Orland reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 9th minute Edward Vanderstraeten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeremias Orland saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sebastião Quintal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Casper Claes made a huge save. Casper Claes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sebastião Quintal in the 15th minute. Casper Claes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastião Quintal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jeremias Orland showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edward Vanderstraeten in the 24th minute of the match. In the 25th minute, Yves Dervaux hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Casper Claes made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Benjamin da Fonseca sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Sebastião Quintal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pesqueira City's supporters rose to their feet, but Sebastião Quintal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Casper Claes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pesqueira City's Benjamin da Fonseca got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Casper Claes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benjamin da Fonseca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pesqueira City's Jeremias Orland played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 37th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Sebastião Quintal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pesqueira City's supporters rose to their feet, but Sebastião Quintal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Casper Claes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Casper Claes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastião Quintal in the 46th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Edward Vanderstraeten made the kick off in the second half. Sebastião Quintal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Sebastião Quintal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Casper Claes was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Belgium's Laurens Vandamme got a free kick in the 61st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastião Quintal in the 62nd minute of play forced Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Sebastião Quintal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pesqueira City made a substitution. Oséias Sabóia replaced Filiph Låsberg. Jeremias Orland made an important save on a dangerous shot by Yves Dervaux in the 72nd minute. Casper Claes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastião Quintal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jeremias Orland showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edward Vanderstraeten, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Casper Claes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastião Quintal in the 89th minute of play.
