If Major Barna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sören Gregersson in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fodor Daniel saved Hungary from getting behind. In the 95th minute Sören Gregersson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Hungary players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
