Khalid Kennedy was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Octavio Efraim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Micah Macdonald, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Octavio Efraim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Issac Dawson, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. In the 19th minute, Rene Flor left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Red Bull Crystallis fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Octavio Efraim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Micah Macdonald in the 24th minute of the match. In the 25thth minute of the game Rene Flor who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but England's Khalid Kennedy was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 26 minutes had been played when some careless play by England's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. William Bodin was slow to take the kick. During this time Red Bull Crystallis's players had a chance to rest. Octavio Efraim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kyle Cox in the 28th minute of play. Octavio Efraim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Issac Dawson, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Rene Flor kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Khalid Kennedy. That made the score 3-0 in the 40 minute of play. A collision led to England getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Micah Macdonald hit a great ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rene Flor was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind England's goalkeeper Khalid Kennedy, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 52 minutes England's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was William Bodin who took care of the corner kick. After a rather tough play, Red Bull Crystallis's Stevie Gerrard got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Rene Flor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. England's Khalid Kennedy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rene Flor in the 58th minute of play. Stevie Gerrard kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Cooper Thompson made in the 68th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Kyle Cox however managed to control. In the 70th minute Rene Flor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Khalid Kennedy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rene Flor blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Khalid Kennedy having to make a save. Khalid Kennedy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rene Flor, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Rene Flor took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Khalid Kennedy. Khalid Kennedy dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Red Bull Crystallis's Federico Arnas was substituted for Rene Flor. 81 minutes into the match, England's goal looked a bit too open when Federico Arnas came free, but Khalid Kennedy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Issac Dawson hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. England's Khalid Kennedy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Federico Arnas in the 88th minute of play. Red Bull Crystallis's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by William Bodin in the 90th minute. The corner led Red Bull Crystallis's William Bodin to fire away a dangerous shot which Khalid Kennedy despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Red Bull Crystallis had won after a very even match.
