Gijsbert ter Kruimer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 9th match minute, C.A. Husky was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcos Azofra to maneuver through the defense. Lars Meesters's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jago Urquijo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. 14 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Nabar Zafrilla came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jago Urquijo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lars Meesters, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 20 minutes, Gijsbert ter Kruimer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Netherlands's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gijsbert ter Kruimer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gonçalo Caires fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnout Reekers having to interfere. When the match clock showed 27 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Tallia Incera sped through Netherlands's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Arnout Reekers. Jago Urquijo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 30th minute of play. In the 31st minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. C.A. Husky's Jago Urquijo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wim Wilmes in the 35th minute of play. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kajar Indrekson in the 38th minute of the match. 39 minutes had been played when some careless play by Netherlands's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Nabar Zafrilla was slow to take the kick. During this time C.A. Husky's players had a chance to rest. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Netherlands from getting a goal against them.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gijsbert ter Kruimer to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 50th match minute, C.A. Husky was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gonçalo Caires to maneuver through the defense. When Netherlands's Wim Wilmes in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye C.A. Husky's goalie prevented a goal. Gijsbert ter Kruimer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gustaaf Groeneveldt received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jago Urquijo came out and tried to block the shot, but Gustaaf Groeneveldt slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 59th minute. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tallia Incera in the 66th minute of the match. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nabar Zafrilla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 70 minutes into the match, C.A. Husky's goal looked a bit too open when Wim Wilmes came free, but Jago Urquijo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Che Camacho was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 71 minutes into the match. C.A. Husky:s Jago Urquijo showed great skill when he stopped Gijsbert ter Kruimer:s penalty. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bas Tuitert in the 79th minute of play forced C.A. Husky's goalkeeper Jago Urquijo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 90th minute, Tallia Incera made a precise shot to the right of Arnout Reekers. Netherlands's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. After 92 played minutes Netherlands got a freekick which was hit by Gustaaf Groeneveldt. 95 minutes into the match, C.A. Husky's goal looked a bit too open when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free, but Jago Urquijo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Netherlands players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for C.A. Husky.
