Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) After 3 minutes, Matias Mølhart mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hoberg United and the France players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Hoberg United getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Matias Mølhart hit a great ball. In the 5th minute Frank Peletier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Don Schmeichel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hoberg United's goalkeeper Don Schmeichel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 10th minute Don Hoberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maxime Durand saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Balthazar Maibohm in the 12th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by France's Remy Dupuy. Balthazar Maibohm kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. In the 17th minute, Håkon Mylliin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. David Barbier, 17 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 20th minute of the match France got a corner. Hoberg United's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. David Barbier ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to France's Robert Chapuis getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Camille Baume in the 24th minute of play forced Hoberg United's goalkeeper Don Schmeichel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. France's Remy Dupuy managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Balthazar Maibohm in the 37 minute of the game. Don Schmeichel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Peletier in the 38th minute of play. Frank Peletier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Don Schmeichel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Don Schmeichel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Camille Baume, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Frank Peletier stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. France were awarded a corner in the 53th minute after Hoberg United's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. David Barbier took the corner. After taking down the ball on France's corner David Barbier fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Don Schmeichel quite easily take care of the ball. The throw-in from Balthazar Maibohm in the 55th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by France's Remy Dupuy. In the 57th minute, France's Frank Peletier ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Don Schmeichel. Don Schmeichel yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-1. 62 minutes into the match, Hoberg United's goal looked a bit too open when Camille Baume came free, but Don Schmeichel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 63rd minute, Frank Peletier ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Don Schmeichel was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Camille Baume sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Don Schmeichel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Camille Baume, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. In the 71st minute Frank Peletier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Don Schmeichel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Camille Baume kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Don Schmeichel. That made the score 0-3 in the 73 minute of play. A collision led to Hoberg United getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Håkon Mylliin hit a great ball. With a little luck, Hoberg United's Don Schmeichel got control of the ball when Frank Peletier tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to France getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Camille Baume hit a great ball. Don Hoberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Maxime Durand. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Don Hoberg ran back to his position shaking his head. Don Schmeichel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Barbier, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. A collision led to Hoberg United getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Matias Mølhart hit a great ball. After 92 played minutes, France's David Barbier shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Don Schmeichel came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in France reached it. Balthazar Maibohm made in the 94th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by France's Remy Dupuy.
