Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Frank Sachs started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Frank Sachs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albin Holweck in the 11th minute of play forced Hoberg United's goalkeeper Don Schmeichel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Don Schmeichel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Sachs in the 13th minute of play. Frank Sachs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Don Schmeichel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 21 played minutes Hoberg United got a freekick which was hit by Balthazar Maibohm. Don Schmeichel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albin Holweck in the 22nd minute of play. After 24 minutes, Frank Sachs made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Hoberg United's Don Schmeichel tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Albin Holweck managed to get in a good position for a shot. Germany's supporters rose to their feet, but Albin Holweck was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Don Schmeichel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Hoberg United's zone, Albin Holweck stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Don Schmeichel came out of the goal and Albin Holweck tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 40 minutes into the match, Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jochum Kurdahl. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Don Hoberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Tommy Kahn was a little too slow when Don Hoberg got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 46th minute. The score was now 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Frank Sachs got free with Don Schmeichel in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 59 minutes, Frank Sachs managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Germany's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frank Sachs was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hoberg United's Don Schmeichel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Hoberg United from getting a goal against them. Balthazar Maibohm hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Don Schmeichel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Sachs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Frank Sachs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Don Schmeichel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hoberg United's defense didn't have a chance, in the 78th minute, when Chris Mergenthaler scored to the left of an out of position Don Schmeichel, making the score, 1-2. If Frank Sachs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 85 minutes, Albin Holweck managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Germany's supporters crossed their fingers, but Albin Holweck was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bertil Arneborg hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. The Hoberg United fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Germany were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
