Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edward Vanderstraeten in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Igor Parzysz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Casper Claes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wiliam Peren in the 13th minute. After having played for 15 minutes, Wiliam Peren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. San Roque FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wiliam Peren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Wiliam Peren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After taking down the ball on Belgium's corner Edward Vanderstraeten fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Igor Parzysz quite easily take care of the ball. In the 22ndth minute of the game Wiliam Peren who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Belgium's Casper Claes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 32 minutes into the game, Erik Hökqvist threw the ball into play from the sideline. Belgium's Nigel Devos quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 44 minutes into the match, San Roque FC's goal looked a bit too open when Edward Vanderstraeten came free, but Igor Parzysz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 46 minutes, Lenny Clocheret mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Belgium and the San Roque FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Belgium's Casper Claes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wiliam Peren in the 97th minute of play.
