Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Petre Benga made the kick off which started today's match. If Wim Wilmes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 7 minutes into the game, Wim Wilmes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Valer Nuțu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Valer Nuțu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 11th minute of play. In the 12th minute Netherlands were awarded a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s goalkeeper Valer Nuțu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Valer Nuțu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wim Wilmes in the 19th minute of play. After 23 played minutes Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Eliodor Bântu. Eliodor Bântu charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eliodor Bântu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Eliodor Bântu hit a great ball. Gijsbert ter Kruimer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Valer Nuțu came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt. But to his dismay, Gustaaf Groeneveldt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. 33 minutes into the match, Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free, but Valer Nuțu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 35th minute, Eliodor Bântu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Valer Nuțu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 36th minute of play. Arnout Reekers made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Petre Benga sent off a good shot on target. If Wim Wilmes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Netherlands were winning 0-5.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gijsbert ter Kruimer to make the kick off. Valer Nuțu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Valer Nuțu got control of the ball when Wim Wilmes tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- booed when Netherlands was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Eikelkamp didn't get a good kick on the ball. 65 minutes into the game, Wim Wilmes lined in a short shot 0-6 behind a frustrated Valer Nuțu. Wim Wilmess short, quick shot in the 72ndth minute got Valer Nuțu to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 80th minute, Netherlands's Wim Wilmes ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Valer Nuțu. Valer Nuțu yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-8. Wim Wilmes scored 0-9 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Valer Nuțu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gustaaf Groeneveldt got free with Valer Nuțu in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gustaaf Groeneveldt's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Valer Nuțu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dan Gagiu, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Valer Nuțu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wim Wilmes in the 96th minute of play.
