When Hegedus Henrik came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Hungary fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hegedus Henrik couldn't finish the play. Mänsur Rzayev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Major Barna in the 5th minute of the match. Katona Janos hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. A collision led to Hungary getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Balazs Lajos hit a great ball. 34 minutes into the game, Ortzi Calzado recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Fodor Daniel. Ortzi Calzado showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Antal Valentin took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 38th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Mänsur Rzayev. Şamaxı Bankirlər's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tolek Dankowski got free with Fodor Daniel in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mänsur Rzayev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Major Barna in the 43rd minute of play. In the 45th minute of the match Hungary got a corner. Şamaxı Bankirlər's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Antal Valentin ran over to the corner to take the kick. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The throw-in from Takacs Tibor in the 57th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Şamaxı Bankirlər's Joel Löfgren. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ortzi Calzado in the 59th minute of play. 62 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Tolek Dankowski came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In a very dangerous position, a player in Şamaxı Bankirlər fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 65th minute. Penalty! Mänsur Rzayev made an important save on a dangerous shot by Antal Valentin in the 68th minute. Tolek Dankowski scored 2-0 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fodor Daniel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 75 minutes into the match, Şamaxı Bankirlər's goalkeeper Mänsur Rzayev had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Balazs Lajos. In the 78th minute, Cezary Pierz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Şamaxı Bankirlər's Mänsur Rzayev proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Şamaxı Bankirlər from getting a goal against them. Şamaxı Bankirlər's defense didn't have a chance, in the 81st minute, when Antal Valentin scored to the left of an out of position Mänsur Rzayev, making the score, 2-1. Balazs Lajos struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Mänsur Rzayev didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hungary. 90 minutes into the match, Şamaxı Bankirlər's goalkeeper Mänsur Rzayev had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Balazs Lajos. 90 minutes into the match, Balazs Lajos dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Mänsur Rzayev, 2-2. Tolek Dankowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Hungary were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
