Tommy Kahn was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Domingo Librado showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 27 minute of play. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tommy Kahn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Domingo Librado's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Linus Schwerner hit a great ball. Arquímedes Ladio might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tommy Kahn. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Arquímedes Ladio ran back to his position shaking his head. Domingo Librado kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Domingo Librado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Arquímedes getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Ciriaco Endura hit a great ball. Tommy Kahn didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Angel Jaume went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arquímedes Ladio in the 91st minute of play. If Fernando Nabar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Germany's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
