When Dragões de Campo Grande's Antônio Cosme in the 5th minute got a chance for a shot 5th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Magnifico FC - FSCMZ's Erik Rosado tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 12th match minute, Dragões de Campo Grande was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joaquim Marinho to maneuver through the defense. Patrick Machado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Richard Linhares, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Patrick Machado made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alan Machado in the 15th minute. Alan Machado scored 1-1 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Patrick Machado, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Antônio Cosme came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Dragões de Campo Grande fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antônio Cosme couldn't finish the play. If Richard Linhares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 30 minutes into the match, Dragões de Campo Grande's goalkeeper Patrick Machado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alan Machado. Patrick Machado stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alan Machado's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. In the 32nd minute Magnifico FC - FSCMZ were awarded a corner. Alessandro Aparecido went to the cornerflag to take it. 34 minutes into the match, Richard Linhares notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Dragões de Campo Grande's Patrick Machado. Patrick Machado was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Patrick Machado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Richard Linhares in the 38th minute of play. In the 43rd match minute, Dragões de Campo Grande was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raimundo Valle to maneuver through the defense. Patrick Machado acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 43rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Alessandro Aparecido. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Richard Linhares stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Patrick Machado didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alan Machado went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Patrick Machado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Richard Senna, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. In the 61st minute Richard Linhares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrick Machado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Magnifico FC - FSCMZ booed when Dragões de Campo Grande was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raimundo Valle didn't get a good kick on the ball. Patrick Machado came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Magnifico FC - FSCMZ's Alan Machado. But to his dismay, Alan Machado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. After a defensive mix-up in Dragões de Campo Grande's zone, Juninho Donato stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Patrick Machado came out of the goal and Juninho Donato tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alan Machado in the 80th minute of play forced Dragões de Campo Grande's goalkeeper Patrick Machado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 83rd minute, Richard Senna made a precise shot to the right of Patrick Machado. Dragões de Campo Grande's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. In the 88th minute, José Maria Coutinho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Patrick Machado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gugu Tande in the 93rd minute of the match. Patrick Machado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alan Machado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Magnifico FC - FSCMZ's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
