In the 11th minute, Charles Fonseca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 15 minutes, Raimundo Valle mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dragões de Campo Grande and the FC Bullen players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by José Maria Coutinho during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Dragões de Campo Grande's José Maria Coutinho got a free kick in the 20th minute. When Henric Vedholm fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Bullen's protests and gave Henric Vedholm a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, FC Bullen's Henric Vedholm got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Bruninho Rodrigues sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henric Vedholm in the 31st minute of play forced Dragões de Campo Grande's goalkeeper Patrick Machado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jan Hedkvist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Patrick Machado made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Jan Hedkvist kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Patrick Machado. That made the score 1-1 in the 40 minute of play. Eric Johnsson received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Patrick Machado came out and tried to block the shot, but Eric Johnsson slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 45th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Raimundo Valle to make the kick off. Patrick Machado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henric Vedholm, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 61 minutes, Manfred Andreasson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Bullen and the Dragões de Campo Grande players grew even worse after the yellow card. Manfred Andreasson hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Léo Donatello shot from long distance in the 62nd minute, but Staffan Julin was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. In the 67th match minute, Dragões de Campo Grande was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Samuca Chaves to maneuver through the defense. Staffan Julin came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Dragões de Campo Grande's Charles Fonseca. But to his dismay, Charles Fonseca quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. 81 minutes into the match, Eric Johnsson notched a goal, 4-2, to the right of Dragões de Campo Grande's Patrick Machado. Patrick Machado was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 84th match minute, FC Bullen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henric Vedholm to maneuver through the defense. 87 minutes into the game, Jan Hedkvist cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-2. Patrick Machado was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 91st minute Eric Johnsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrick Machado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There was no doubt that FC Bullen were the better team. FC Bullen's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
