If Victorino Aguirre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 22nd minute of the match, Petter Vartdal got a very nice opportunity to score, but Hipolito Jerrold was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Electric Futbol Club's Hipolito Jerrold proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Electric Futbol Club from getting a goal against them. Åsnes's Christer Waaler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aldo Enmanuel in the 23rd minute of play. In the 27th minute Aldo Enmanuel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christer Waaler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Angelo Santio during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. David Reitan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Electric Futbol Club's Angelo Santio got a free kick in the 37th minute. Christer Waaler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victorino Aguirre in the 42nd minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Jan-Kenneth Woll's late challenge caught a Electric Futbol Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jan-Kenneth Woll helped the player get up and apologised. 58 minutes into the match, Jonathan Vie notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Electric Futbol Club's Hipolito Jerrold. Hipolito Jerrold was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hipolito Jerrold showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tor-Kristian Fosse, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Christer Waaler was out of position in the 87 minute of play, and Victorino Aguirre capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Victorino Aguirre really showed his touch with that goal: 3-3. In the 94th minute, Petter Vartdal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 96th minute Victorino Aguirre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christer Waaler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
