The supporters of TSV Delliehausen booed when Dragões de Campo Grande was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. TSV Delliehausen's supporters stood up full of expectation in the 7th minute of the game, when Kurt Walbeck after an extraordinary solo performance found himself with a golden opportunity in front of Dragões de Campo Grande's goal. Kurt Walbeck was unfortunally a little to anxious and the ball went outside the goal. When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Shingo Pensky took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Patrick Machado to make any attempt to save it. Patrick Machado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niklas Rüsing in the 13th minute of the match. In the 15th minute of the match, Niklas Rüsing tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Patrick Machado saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Charles Fonseca took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Elmar Brink. Elmar Brink dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Elmar Brink was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Shingo Pensky stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dragões de Campo Grande's Patrick Machado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Shingo Pensky in the 53rd minute of play. In the 57th match minute, Dragões de Campo Grande was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Fernando Pinheiro to maneuver through the defense. The audience held their breath when Kurt Walbeck in the 59th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Patrick Machado's left hand side. In the 66th minute, Simon Vogelsang left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The TSV Delliehausen fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. In the 70th minute, Raimundo Valle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The TSV Delliehausen manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Dragões de Campo Grande to win.
