Arif Tugay Sancaktar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, -BZF- Viitorul Buzau's Petru Pamfil got a free kick in the 9th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferdi Tokdemir in the 17th minute of play forced -BZF- Viitorul Buzau's goalkeeper Iustinian Purcărete to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Florin Bălan charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Florin Bălan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to -BZF- Viitorul Buzau getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Florin Bălan hit a great ball. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind -BZF- Viitorul Buzau's goalkeeper Iustinian Purcărete, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Arif Tugay Sancaktar took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 31st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Iustinian Purcărete. -BZF- Viitorul Buzau's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Iustinian Purcărete was a little too slow when Ferdi Tokdemir got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 32nd minute. The score was now 1-1. After some careless play in the -BZF- Viitorul Buzau defense, Arif Tugay Sancaktar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Iustinian Purcărete. The -BZF- Viitorul Buzau fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Iustinian Purcărete should have stopped the shot.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ferdi Tokdemir to strike the kick off in the second half. ZONGULDAKKÖMÜRSPOR's Ferdi Tokdemir got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Iustinian Purcărete made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferdi Tokdemir in the 64th minute of play. Luca Mureșan hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. After 82 minutes, Uygur Musa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ZONGULDAKKÖMÜRSPOR and the -BZF- Viitorul Buzau players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 82 played minutes ZONGULDAKKÖMÜRSPOR got a freekick which was hit by Uygur Musa. Gökçek Yalavaç made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nicolae Pârâianu in the 84th minute. Gökçek Yalavaç was out of position in the 86 minute of play, and Luca Mureșan capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Luca Mureșan really showed his touch with that goal: 2-3. 91 minutes into the match, ZONGULDAKKÖMÜRSPOR's Sertel Hacıbeyoğlu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Iustinian Purcărete narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Iustinian Purcărete made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferdi Tokdemir in the 94th minute of play. The ZONGULDAKKÖMÜRSPOR supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching -BZF- Viitorul Buzau's performance. The match ended with a win for -BZF- Viitorul Buzau.
