The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Beppe Puce showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Coriano FC's Beppe Puce played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniele Massaro in the 17th minute of play. After 22 played minutes Coriano FC got a freekick which was hit by Ferdinando Di Camillo. 23 minutes into the match, Coriano FC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniele Massaro came free, but Beppe Puce reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eugenio Colecchia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ferdinando Di Camillo went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniele Massaro in the 41st minute of play forced Coriano FC's goalkeeper Beppe Puce to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Seggiano's Godo Møltoft got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
