With a little luck, Silver Play 2's Tomás Lucila got control of the ball when Carlos Dominguez tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Uriel Pere in the 8th minute of play forced Silver Play 2's goalkeeper Tomás Lucila to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomás Lucila showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Humberto Hulberto, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. MOEBIO's Ciro Teyo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Haroldo Corderun in the 11th minute of play. In the 13th minute Haroldo Corderun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciro Teyo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Silver Play 2 booed when MOEBIO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victoriano Silban didn't get a good kick on the ball. 15 minutes into the match, MOEBIO's goal looked a bit too open when Haroldo Corderun came free, but Ciro Teyo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Claudio-Darío Martel hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. In the 17th minute, Bebeto Reno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Silver Play 2's zone, Humberto Hulberto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomás Lucila came out of the goal and Humberto Hulberto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Petar Hubchev charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Petar Hubchev the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Silver Play 2's Petar Hubchev got a free kick in the 24th minute. Isidoro Ponce took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 25th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tomás Lucila. Silver Play 2's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Petar Hubchev was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 26 minutes had been played. Tomás Lucila was out of position in the 27 minute of play, and Isidoro Ponce capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Isidoro Ponce really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the 30th minute Uriel Pere shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomás Lucila saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Silver Play 2's Tomás Lucila proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Silver Play 2 from getting a goal against them. In the 32nd minute of the match, Victoriano Silban got a very nice opportunity to score, but Tomás Lucila was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Tomás Lucila made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Humberto Hulberto in the 35th minute of play. After having played for 36 minutes, Uriel Pere managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MOEBIO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Uriel Pere was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Archie Ares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Tomás Lucila tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When MOEBIO's Uriel Pere in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Silver Play 2's goalie prevented a goal. After 44 played minutes Silver Play 2 got a freekick which was hit by Nicanor Mede. After a defensive mix-up in Silver Play 2's zone, Uriel Pere stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomás Lucila came out of the goal and Uriel Pere tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Uriel Pere to make the kick off. Carlos Dominguez hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. 53 minutes into the match, MOEBIO's goal looked a bit too open when Haroldo Corderun came free, but Ciro Teyo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Silver Play 2's Franco Muñoz was substituted for Pedro Pomelov. In the 71st minute Uriel Pere shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomás Lucila saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomás Lucila made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Siro Asur in the 78th minute of play. Tomás Lucila showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Uriel Pere in the 85th minute of the match. Ciro Teyo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Haroldo Corderun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 88 minutes into the match, Silver Play 2's goal looked a bit too open when Efrain Mateo came free, but Tomás Lucila reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the last second Ciro Teyo throw himself and got hold of the ball when Franco Muñoz in the 90thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. In the 91st minute Silver Play 2 were awarded a corner. Nereo Precioso went to the cornerflag to take it. A collision led to Silver Play 2 getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Alvaro Marcones hit a great ball. Ciro Teyo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicanor Mede, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 95th minute, Franco Muñoz reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ciro Teyo. The goal made the score 3-1. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The MOEBIO fans cheered their team off the field, for while Silver Play 2 had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
