Cristian Chan struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Carlos Germano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Quebrachitos FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aníbal Barca in the 11th minute of play forced Club Atlético Atlanta's goalkeeper Carlos Germano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Remigio Erramu kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atlético Atlanta's zone, Aníbal Barca stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlos Germano came out of the goal and Aníbal Barca tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aníbal Barca's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carlos Germano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. Quebrachitos FC's Carolo Chuse managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Abel Iban in the 19 minute of the game. Carlos Germano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aníbal Barca in the 26th minute of the match. Quebrachitos FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Aníbal Barca in the 59th minute. In the 61st minute, Cristian Chan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Carolo Chuse kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. 66 minutes into the game, Aníbal Barca cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Carlos Germano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Quebrachitos FC's Carolo Chuse quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Fabio Artaldo, made in the 71st minute of the game. Quebrachitos FC's Oscar Ekhi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eustaquio Jaizki in the 73rd minute of play. Cristian Chan came free with the goalkeeper in the 75th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Carlos Germano could save by the left post. After 86 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Club Atlético Atlanta! Carlos Germano had in the 86thth minute some difficulties stopping Aníbal Barca's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his right side, but he still managed to hold the ball 86 minutes into the game, Aníbal Barca recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Carlos Germano. Aníbal Barca showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. Quebrachitos FC were furious when Liam Neeson was red carded, 95 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After a rather tough play, Quebrachitos FC's Liam Neeson got a free kick in the 96th minute. Ciro Ferdinand fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 97th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball bounced in the crossbar and then went out. It was a very nice shot. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Quebrachitos FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
