Hegedus Henrik's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edwin Almodovar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Concetto Chelodi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Antal Valentin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Concetto Chelodi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fodor Daniel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Esquadrão Lusitano's goal looked a bit too open when Major Barna came free, but Edwin Almodovar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edwin Almodovar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antal Valentin, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Everton Cebollero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 34 minutes Esquadrão Lusitano's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Antal Valentin who took care of the corner kick. Stefan Niziolek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Esquadrão Lusitano booed when Hungary was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vörös Henrik didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Esquadrão Lusitano's Concetto Chelodi tried to score from far away in the 38th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Antal Valentin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edwin Almodovar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. Fodor Daniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Concetto Chelodi in the 43rd minute of the match. Antal Valentin might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edwin Almodovar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Antal Valentin ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Hungary getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Takacs Tibor hit a great ball. After 47 played minutes Esquadrão Lusitano got a freekick which was hit by Stefan Niziolek. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Antal Valentin made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Hungary's zone, Everton Cebollero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fodor Daniel came out of the goal and Everton Cebollero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 54th minute Antal Valentin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edwin Almodovar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Everton Cebollero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Fodor Daniel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Everton Cebollero in the 57th minute of play. Fodor Daniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Concetto Chelodi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Esquadrão Lusitano's Seyfullah Ayık got a free kick in the 71st minute. In the 72nd minute, Major Barna got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Everton Cebollero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 74th minute Everton Cebollero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Everton Cebollero's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fodor Daniel was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. Edwin Almodovar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Major Barna went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Antal Valentin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hungary's supporters rose to their feet, but Antal Valentin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edwin Almodovar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 95th match minute, Esquadrão Lusitano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexandre Figueira to maneuver through the defense. Hungary played a much better game than Esquadrão Lusitano and deserved their victory. The Esquadrão Lusitano players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
