Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Frank Sachs made the kick off which started today's match. 5 minutes into the match, Marc Öfverman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marc Öfverman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Dan Lundström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Sachs in the 10th minute of play. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Börje Lindsten in the 11th minute of play. Sven Krakouer kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Leeds United FC's Ludwig Ström was substituted for Gerrie Mühren. The supporters of Leeds United FC booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sven Krakouer didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Börje Lindsten from long distance, 14 minutes into the match, got Tommy Kahn's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Frank Sachs put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Dan Lundström. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonardo Melberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Sachs in the 22nd minute of play forced Leeds United FC's goalkeeper Dan Lundström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Börje Lindsten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Leonardo Melberg to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Leeds United FC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Ludwig Ström hit a great ball. Marc Öfverman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Tommy Kahn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Germany's zone, Kenny Nordlund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal and Kenny Nordlund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 69 minutes into the match, Leeds United FC's goal looked a bit too open when Albin Holweck came free, but Dan Lundström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Börje Lindsten came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Leeds United FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Börje Lindsten couldn't finish the play. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonardo Melberg in the 75th minute of the match. After 75 minutes of play, Leeds United FC's Leonardo Melberg made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tommy Kahn was left in no man's land by his defense there! Marc Öfverman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Tommy Kahn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Leeds United FC's Lucjan Skorny got a free kick in the 80th minute. Adrian Dreifuss kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. In the 90th match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sven Krakouer to maneuver through the defense. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
