Flavio Vittori was out of position in the 3 minute of play, and Fevzi Baykara capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Fevzi Baykara really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Antoni Brama took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zaccheo Andolina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Italy's Siricio Liotta quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Roch Zajonc, made in the 11th minute of the game. Antoni Brama showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 13th minute of the match. Antoni Brama took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zaccheo Andolina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zena Busacca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antoni Brama having to interfere. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Śląsk Bytom's Antoni Brama played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Siricio Liotta in the 30th minute of play. Fevzi Baykara received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Flavio Vittori came out and tried to block the shot, but Fevzi Baykara slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 34th minute. A sloppy throw-in by Roch Zajonc in the 42nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Italy's Siricio Liotta. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The wind increased when Zaccheo Andolina made the kick off in the second half. Italy's Flavio Vittori played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fevzi Baykara in the 54th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fevzi Baykara in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Flavio Vittori saved Italy from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fevzi Baykara in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Flavio Vittori prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Zaccheo Andolina took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Antoni Brama. Antoni Brama dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Zaccheo Andolina's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Antoni Brama read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. In the 77th minute, Fevzi Baykara ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Flavio Vittori was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Antoni Brama took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Siricio Liotta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 86th minute, Sigfrido Auletta reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Antoni Brama. The goal made the score 3-2. Italy made a substitution. Adriano Curto replaced Zaccheo Andolina. With a little luck, Śląsk Bytom's Antoni Brama got control of the ball when Porziano Marchitelli tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Śląsk Bytom players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
