The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Metod Mlynar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ivan Echeto hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. If Metod Mlynar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Eduardo Holguin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vavrinec Koleno, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. 18 minutes into the game, Daniel Suchy threw the ball into play from the sideline. CD Suscal's Ivan Echeto quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Stefan Havel kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. After 22 played minutes Slovakia got a freekick which was hit by Pavol Koleno. The supporters of Slovakia booed when CD Suscal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frutos Andres didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 29th match minute, Slovakia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pavol Koleno to maneuver through the defense. CD Suscal's Frutos Andres managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Vít Biskup in the 37 minute of the game. 40 minutes into the match, Slovakia's goal looked a bit too open when Xoan Golpe came free, but Henrich Slany reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Slovakia getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Stefan Havel hit a great ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The supporters of Slovakia booed when CD Suscal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivan Echeto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Daniel Suchy made in the 59th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Oliver Holub immediately put the ball in play. Frutos Andres's late challenge caught a Slovakia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Frutos Andres helped the player get up and apologised. In the 64th minute, Frutos Andres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Chatruc Valentin was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 70th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 74thth minute of the game Félix Briceño who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Slovakia's Henrich Slany was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 76th minute, Ivan Echeto made a precise shot to the right of Henrich Slany. Slovakia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Stefan Havel hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Vavrinec Koleno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Eduardo Holguin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, CD Suscal's Bernát Borsó got a free kick in the 91st minute. CD Suscal's Eduardo Holguin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save CD Suscal from getting a goal against them. CD Suscal's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
