Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The nice shot from Alexandru Zaki in the 7thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Keld Paulsen had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Stoicii's zone, Chris Nygaard stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mihăiţă Mirciulescu came out of the goal and Chris Nygaard tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bertram Svenningsen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Denmark getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Bertram Svenningsen hit a great ball. Stoicii's Alexandru Zaki got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Chris Nygaard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mihăiţă Mirciulescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olav Graversen in the 23rd minute of play. Mihăiţă Mirciulescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chris Nygaard in the 26th minute of the match. Alexandru Zaki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Keld Paulsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 31st minute, Benoit Gijselinckx reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Keld Paulsen. The goal made the score 1-0. Claudiu Popescu scored 2-0 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Keld Paulsen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nicola Rareș during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Stoicii getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Nicola Rareș hit a great ball. 40 minutes into the match, Chris Nygaard had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mihăiţă Mirciulescu. Stoicii's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Chris Nygaard was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Benoit Gijselinckx kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Mihăiţă Mirciulescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mikkel Wulff, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Chris Nygaard stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Stoicii got a freekick which was hit by Nicola Rareș. 51 minutes into the match, Chris Nygaard notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Stoicii's Mihăiţă Mirciulescu. Mihăiţă Mirciulescu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mikkel Wulff might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mihăiţă Mirciulescu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mikkel Wulff ran back to his position shaking his head. 59 minutes into the match, Stoicii's goal looked a bit too open when Chris Nygaard came free, but Mihăiţă Mirciulescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nicola Rareș kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Adrian Lucescu made in the 68th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Cristian Cristea however managed to control. Cristian Cristea charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cristian Cristea the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Stoicii getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Cristian Cristea hit a great ball. Chris Nygaard had several of the Stoicii's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 71 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-3 score and a disappointed Mihăiţă Mirciulescu as he didn't even see the shot coming. Chris Nygaard came free with the goalkeeper in the 74th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Mihăiţă Mirciulescu could save by the left post. If Cristian Cristea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee felt a red card was in order, 79 minutes into the game, when Aurelian Dragomir put in a rough tackle. The goalkeeper, Mihăiţă Mirciulescu, was totally fooled by Denmark's Chris Nygaard, who 80 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Chris Nygaard in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mihăiţă Mirciulescu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alexandru Zaki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Keld Paulsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 94 minutes into the game, Alexandru Zaki was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Stoicii's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Denmark the free kick. After 94 played minutes Stoicii got a freekick which was hit by Alexandru Zaki. Bertram Svenningsen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Mihăiţă Mirciulescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Stoicii fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Denmark were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
