With his leg Casper Claes managed to avoid a goal in the 12thth minute, when Cascade Park West's Amir Lee fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Dario Wilhelm stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edward Vanderstraeten's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. If Amir Lee had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 25 minutes into the game, one of Cascade Park West:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Edward Vanderstraeten shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. After having played for 31 minutes, Allen Dalton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cascade Park West's supporters crossed their fingers, but Allen Dalton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After having played for 34 minutes, Edward Vanderstraeten managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. After the first half Belgium were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Amir Lee made a kick off. Edward Vanderstraeten received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Dario Wilhelm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Amir Lee struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Casper Claes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cascade Park West. Dario Wilhelm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edward Vanderstraeten in the 59th minute of the match. Casper Claes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amir Lee, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Cascade Park West's Amir Lee got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Belgium's Casper Claes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amir Lee in the 69th minute of play. The Cascade Park West fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Belgium were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
