Uno Vester made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chris Nygaard in the 3rd minute of play. 7 minutes into the match, Glemmingebro IF's Han Fan Hong sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Keld Paulsen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Denmark's Keld Paulsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Han Fan Hong in the 10th minute of play. Han Fan Hong blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Keld Paulsen having to make a save. In the 29th minute, Glemmingebro IF's Ivan Säf seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Ivan Säf the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Glemmingebro IF protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Ivan Säf had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. A collision led to Glemmingebro IF getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Ivan Säf hit a great ball. Glemmingebro IF's Uno Vester played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Theis Winther in the 31st minute of play. Keld Paulsen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Han Fan Hong, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 42 minutes into the game, Karl-Erik Bergqvist was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Glemmingebro IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Denmark the free kick. The supporters of Denmark booed when Glemmingebro IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karl-Erik Bergqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 43 played minutes Denmark got a freekick which was hit by Mathias Ludvigsen. Denmark's Theis Winther managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Lavern Rocha in the 45 minute of the game.

In the 54th match minute, Denmark was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Theis Winther to maneuver through the defense. In the 59th minute, Han Fan Hong ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Keld Paulsen was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. In the 64th minute Chris Nygaard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Uno Vester saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Chris Nygaard in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Uno Vester saved Glemmingebro IF from getting behind. Ismaele Santo De Assis Moreira's late challenge caught a Denmark's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ismaele Santo De Assis Moreira helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Glemmingebro IF's Ismaele Santo De Assis Moreira got a free kick in the 72nd minute. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Uno Vester prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 94 minutes into the match, Denmark's goal looked a bit too open when Andréas Strömberg came free, but Keld Paulsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Glemmingebro IF were victorious despite being under pressure from Denmark for much of the match.
