Wilson Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 18 minutes into the match, Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elmar Lexbo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elmar Lexbo in the 19th minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Patrick Cabello kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Tristan Nordlet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipe Barreto in the 21st minute of play. Loke Skaanild's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wilson Amorim read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. The referee ignored Holmkjar Hotspurs's protests and gave Patrick Cabello a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Holmkjar Hotspurs's Patrick Cabello got a free kick in the 33rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Graciano Coutinho in the 35th minute of play forced Holmkjar Hotspurs's goalkeeper Tristan Nordlet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 37 minutes in the game, Elmar Lexbo fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Wilson Amorim having to interfere. Wilson Amorim didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Holmkjar Hotspurs's Bent Streyder shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-0 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 43rd minute Portugal were awarded a corner. Felipe Barreto went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Portugal's corner Felipe Barreto fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Tristan Nordlet quite easily take care of the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Felipe Barreto received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tristan Nordlet came out and tried to block the shot, but Felipe Barreto slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 54th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felipe Barreto got free with Tristan Nordlet in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 61 minutes into the match, Elmar Lexbo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wilson Amorim. Portugal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Elmar Lexbo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. 64 minutes into the game, Bent Streyder cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Wilson Amorim was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Ove Makenhauer came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Holmkjar Hotspurs fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ove Makenhauer couldn't finish the play. Holmkjar Hotspurs's Ulf Pilshøj was substituted for Loke Skaanild. Holmkjar Hotspurs's Kalle Molnit was substituted for Bent Streyder. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kalle Molnit in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wilson Amorim saved Portugal from getting behind. In the 74th minute, Elmar Lexbo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wilson Amorim was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulf Pilshøj in the 76th minute of the match. 79 minutes into the match, Holmkjar Hotspurs's goal looked a bit too open when Bartolomeu Dias came free, but Tristan Nordlet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wilson Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulf Pilshøj, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Wilson Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulf Pilshøj, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 89 minutes into the match, Kalle Molnit notched a goal, 5-2, to the right of Portugal's Wilson Amorim. Wilson Amorim was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
