Viriato Moura started the match with the kick off. A collision led to ǺŁвǺтяØƶ - ƒรCмƶ getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Jerzy Seliga hit a great ball. After 11 played minutes Portugal got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Pimentel. The crowd rose to their feet as Marco Ruben kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Wilson Amorim. That made the score 1-0 in the 12 minute of play. In the 16th minute, Viriato Moura left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Portugal fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Felipe Barreto scored 1-2 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Walmir Catarinense, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 27 minutes of play, ǺŁвǺтяØƶ - ƒรCмƶ's Marco Ruben made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wilson Amorim was left in no man's land by his defense there! 30 minutes into the match, Marco Ruben dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Wilson Amorim, 3-2. Portugal's Bruno Bastos quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Daniel Portillo, made in the 34th minute of the game. If Marco Ruben had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Marco Ruben came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the ǺŁвǺтяØƶ - ƒรCмƶ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marco Ruben couldn't finish the play. The wind increased when Marco Ruben made the kick off in the second half. Portugal's Wilson Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Ruben in the 54th minute of play. Marco Ruben might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wilson Amorim. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marco Ruben ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Ruben in the 65th minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Ruben in the 66th minute of play. After 67 minutes Portugal's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Zézinho Coutinho who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Zézinho Coutinho got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Wilson Amorim quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 70th minute, Marco Ruben ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wilson Amorim was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-2. Portugal made a substitution. Bartolomeu Dias replaced Viriato Moura. Walmir Catarinense made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Bartolomeu Dias sent off a good shot on target. 76 minutes into the game, Faustino Almeida was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Portugal's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ǺŁвǺтяØƶ - ƒรCмƶ the free kick. A collision led to Portugal getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Faustino Almeida hit a great ball. ǺŁвǺтяØƶ - ƒรCмƶ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Pimentel ran over to the corner to take the kick. Marco Ruben scored 7-2 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wilson Amorim, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 86 minutes into the game, ǺŁвǺтяØƶ - ƒรCмƶ's Marco Ruben nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wilson Amorim made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-2. Wilson Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marco Ruben, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. In the 91st minute Marco Ruben shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
