Andrea Moschetta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edward Vanderstraeten in the 7th minute of play. A collision led to Belgium getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Nigel Devos hit a great ball. In the 10th minute, Daniele Massaro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Seggiano's Andrea Moschetta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 12th minute of play. In the 17th minute, Edward Vanderstraeten ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Andrea Moschetta was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Casper Claes made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Daniele Massaro sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Enzo Delle Donne in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Casper Claes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Belgium's Casper Claes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Belgium from getting a goal against them. When Seggiano's Enzo Delle Donne in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Belgium's goalie prevented a goal. Casper Claes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Godo Møltoft, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Seggiano's Amerigo Falone got a free kick in the 32nd minute. After 34 played minutes Belgium got a freekick which was hit by Sander Dermaut. Hugo Boss struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Casper Claes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Seggiano. Casper Claes made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Hugo Boss sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 39th minute of play forced Seggiano's goalkeeper Andrea Moschetta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Godo Møltoft recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Daniele Massaro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Casper Claes made a huge save. When the match clock showed 46 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Enzo Delle Donne sped through Belgium's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Casper Claes. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

In the 58th minute, Daniele Massaro made a precise shot to the right of Casper Claes. Belgium's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Godo Møltoft sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Andrea Moschetta made an important save on a dangerous shot by Siebe Michiels in the 63rd minute. Casper Claes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniele Massaro's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. Edward Vanderstraeten blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Andrea Moschetta having to make a save. If Enzo Delle Donne had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Casper Claes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Godo Møltoft, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 76 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Seggiano's Godo Møltoft fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. If Godo Møltoft had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edward Vanderstraeten's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Andrea Moschetta firmly grabbed it by the left post. Casper Claes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enzo Delle Donne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Casper Claes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enzo Delle Donne in the 96th minute of the match. Seggiano's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Hugo Boss in the 97th minute. Belgium's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
