In the 27th match minute, Yakusoku no Neverland was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pio Tul to maneuver through the defense. In the 29th minute, Kenn Skou hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Yakusoku no Neverland's Osorio Vargas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chris Nygaard in the 32nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Yakusoku no Neverland's zone, Chris Nygaard stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Osorio Vargas came out of the goal and Chris Nygaard tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Osorio Vargas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Chris Nygaard went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Yakusoku no Neverland's Hector Ungo got a free kick in the 59th minute. Osorio Vargas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mikkel Wulff in the 63rd minute of play. Karlo Fortes struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Keld Paulsen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Yakusoku no Neverland. When Bjarne Kirkegaard fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Denmark's protests and gave Bjarne Kirkegaard a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Denmark getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Bjarne Kirkegaard hit a great ball. Zabal Olanda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Keld Paulsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Karlo Fortes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Keld Paulsen was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. 78 minutes into the game, Perrando Morales threw the ball into play from the sideline. When Yakusoku no Neverland's Karlo Fortes in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Denmark's goalie prevented a goal.
