Nibiru X's Darío Friederichs played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 13th minute of play. Netherlands's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 14th minute. A well done corner resulted in Lars Meesters drilling the ball in to score 0-1 behind Nibiru X's goalkeeper. After a rather tough play, Netherlands's Kees Mooiweer got a free kick in the 18th minute. The throw-in from Kees Mooiweer in the 24th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Nibiru X's Adelino Monsalve. Gustaaf Groeneveldt took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Darío Friederichs. Darío Friederichs dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 37th minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Darío Friederichs saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 37 minutes into the game, Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Darío Friederichs made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Darío Friederichs showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Eikelkamp, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. If Gustaaf Groeneveldt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 47 minutes, Ysmael Guichard mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nibiru X and the Netherlands players grew even worse after the yellow card. The Nibiru X players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Netherlands were winning 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tobías Aliaga stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Kees Mooiweer hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. With a left leg Arnout Reekers saved Netherlands from getting behind. In the 95th minute, Juan Antonio Bertrand made a precise shot to the right of Arnout Reekers. Netherlands's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. When the final whistle sounded Netherlands left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Nibiru X.
