Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Battal Gazi Bey in the 6th minute of play. In the 9th minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer made a precise shot to the right of Fran Guerola. S O B E R A N O CIMZ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 16 minutes into the match, S O B E R A N O CIMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Gustaaf Groeneveldt came free, but Fran Guerola reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gustaaf Groeneveldt blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fran Guerola having to make a save. 36 minutes into the match, Inko Colillas notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Netherlands's Arnout Reekers. Arnout Reekers was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Battal Gazi Bey blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arnout Reekers having to make a save. Fran Guerola showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 44th minute of the match. Gijsbert ter Kruimer kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match.

Simão do Vale kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. Gustaaf Groeneveldt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Fran Guerola made a huge save. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Battal Gazi Bey in the 53rd minute of play. With a little luck, S O B E R A N O CIMZ's Fran Guerola got control of the ball when Gijsbert ter Kruimer tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Netherlands's zone, Gökçe Tengiz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arnout Reekers came out of the goal and Gökçe Tengiz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer suffered a concussion in the 68th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Åke Kilman during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, S O B E R A N O CIMZ's Åke Kilman got a free kick in the 69th minute. In the 76th minute, S O B E R A N O CIMZ's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Wim Wilmes fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 78 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Inko Colillas came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. David Eikelkamp kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, S O B E R A N O CIMZ's Klaus Pichler got a free kick in the 85th minute. Netherlands's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
