Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Viriato Moura got the match started through his kick off. A collision led to Portugal getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Viriato Moura hit a great ball. In the 7th match minute, Portugal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Graciano Coutinho to maneuver through the defense. Jon-Inge Kolberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Viriato Moura, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 17th minute Felipe Barreto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jon-Inge Kolberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dan Høines's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Wilson Amorim firmly grabbed it by the left post. Jon-Inge Kolberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viriato Moura in the 21st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Portugal's zone, Ove Svingen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wilson Amorim came out of the goal and Ove Svingen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Nerd Herd's Jon-Inge Kolberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Pimentel in the 25th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hans-Erik Midtun during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After having played for 30 minutes, Ove Svingen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Nerd Herd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ove Svingen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Daniel Pimentel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jon-Inge Kolberg having to interfere. After 35 played minutes The Nerd Herd got a freekick which was hit by Kjetil Osen. Ove Svingen struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Wilson Amorim didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for The Nerd Herd. Felipe Barreto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The The Nerd Herd players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Portugal were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dan Høines stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to The Nerd Herd getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Hans-Erik Midtun hit a great ball. After 54 minutes, Viriato Moura made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. The Nerd Herd's Jon-Inge Kolberg tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Viriato Moura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jon-Inge Kolberg having to interfere. Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ove Svingen in the 66th minute of play. Portugal's Felipinho Amorim was substituted for Felipe Barreto. Portugal made a substitution. Bartolomeu Dias replaced Viriato Moura. The supporters of Portugal booed when The Nerd Herd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Axel Norland didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Portugal's zone, Dan Høines stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wilson Amorim came out of the goal and Dan Høines tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Graciano Coutinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jon-Inge Kolberg having to interfere. Daniel Pimentel took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jon-Inge Kolberg. Jon-Inge Kolberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. 85 minutes into the match, Felipinho Amorim had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jon-Inge Kolberg. The Nerd Herd's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Felipinho Amorim was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. Felipinho Amorim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ove Svingen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wilson Amorim having to make a save. When The Nerd Herd's Dan Høines in the 96th minute got a chance for a shot 96th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Portugal's goalie prevented a goal.
