The audience thought a goal was coming when Benoit Van Bettenrode got free with Artur Boruc in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 9th minute FA Sandtown were awarded a corner. Edward Kasiewski went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Benoit Van Bettenrode managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. An unexpectedly hard shot by Feliks Wojton in the 18th minute of play forced FA Sandtown's goalkeeper Radowit Trzaskoma to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. FA Sandtown's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. After some careless play in the FA Sandtown defense, Damazy Joks kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Radowit Trzaskoma. The FA Sandtown fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Radowit Trzaskoma should have stopped the shot. Wincent Jaroch struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Radowit Trzaskoma didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Poland. Radowit Trzaskoma showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pier Kopacz, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Artur Boruc stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mathias Jonasson's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edward Kasiewski in the 45th minute of play forced Poland's goalkeeper Artur Boruc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 47 minutes of play, Poland's Pier Kopacz made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Radowit Trzaskoma was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mathias Jonasson was the one to do the kick off. Pier Kopacz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The FA Sandtown fans' excitement grew in the 63rd match minute when FA Sandtown's Benoit Van Bettenrode looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. FA Sandtown's Witomir Skikiewicz was substituted for Giovani Correia. Poland's Marek Czech was substituted for Damazy Joks. Poland made a substitution. Roch Dejo replaced Pier Kopacz. Marek Czech's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Radowit Trzaskoma read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mathias Jonasson in the 71st minute of play forced Poland's goalkeeper Artur Boruc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marek Czech sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Marek Czech could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Radowit Trzaskoma made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benoit Van Bettenrode in the 75th minute of play forced Poland's goalkeeper Artur Boruc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 77 minutes into the match, FA Sandtown's Mathias Jonasson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Artur Boruc narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 80 minutes into the match, FA Sandtown's goal looked a bit too open when Lech Pisarcik came free, but Radowit Trzaskoma reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mathias Jonasson in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Artur Boruc saved Poland from getting behind. Marek Czech might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Radowit Trzaskoma. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marek Czech ran back to his position shaking his head. Radowit Trzaskoma made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marek Czech in the 88th minute. Radowit Trzaskoma showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marek Czech in the 93rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mathias Jonasson in the 94th minute of play forced Poland's goalkeeper Artur Boruc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 97th minute the ball was on its way in behind FA Sandtown's goalkeeper Radowit Trzaskoma, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
