FA Sandtown's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benoit Van Bettenrode was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Poland booed when FA Sandtown was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastian Larsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Radowit Trzaskoma was a little too slow when Feliks Wojton got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 18th minute. The score was now 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Lech Pisarcik kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Radowit Trzaskoma. That made the score 2-0 in the 21 minute of play. Artur Boruc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benoit Van Bettenrode in the 25th minute of play. After 26 played minutes FA Sandtown got a freekick which was hit by Radomil Barys. Radowit Trzaskoma acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 27th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Lech Pisarcik. In the 28th minute, Grzegorz Soszka hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Artur Boruc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benoit Van Bettenrode, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Radowit Trzaskoma was out of position in the 32 minute of play, and Lech Pisarcik capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Lech Pisarcik really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. Damazy Joks was the one to do the kick off. In a very dangerous position, a player in FA Sandtown fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 52nd minute. Penalty! After a defensive mix-up in FA Sandtown's zone, Marek Czech stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Radowit Trzaskoma came out of the goal and Marek Czech tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Poland were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of FA Sandtown for a fine match.
