In the 7th minute Major Barna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gomez Urrea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fodor Daniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hector Santiago, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fodor Daniel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hector Santiago went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hector Santiago in the 16th minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19th minute Porvenir were awarded a corner. Urko Villaluenga went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Porvenir's Urko Villaluenga to fire away a dangerous shot which Fodor Daniel despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Antal Valentin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Gomez Urrea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Hungary booed when Porvenir was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ettore Ricci didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Major Barna came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Hungary fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Major Barna couldn't finish the play. Suscal Calleja hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Antal Valentin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gomez Urrea having to make a save. Ettore Ricci hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. The supporters of Porvenir booed when Hungary was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Takacs Tibor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fodor Daniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hector Santiago in the 90th minute of the match. When the referee blew the final whistle, Porvenir could leave the field as winners, despite Hungary having more of the ball for most of the match.
