The score was now 1-0. Henrique Prata made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caetano Moreira in the 7th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Felipe Barreto in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Henrique Prata prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 14th match minute, Grêmio Bulls was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredo Dante to maneuver through the defense. Henrique Prata showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felipe Barreto, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Romulo Lehen got free with Wilson Amorim in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 19 minutes into the match, Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Romulo Lehen. In the 21st minute, Grêmio Bulls's Márcio Luz seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Márcio Luz the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Grêmio Bulls protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Márcio Luz had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Grêmio Bulls fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 21st minute. Penalty! In the 23rd minute there was a penalty for Portugal. Felipe Barreto stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Henrique Prata. 1-1. Grêmio Bulls's Henrique Prata played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viriato Moura in the 27th minute of play. In the 29th minute Felipe Barreto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henrique Prata saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Viriato Moura's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Henrique Prata was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. After 33 minutes of play, Portugal's Felipe Barreto made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Henrique Prata was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Romulo Lehen put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Wilson Amorim. When Bruno Bastos fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Portugal's protests and gave Bruno Bastos a yellow card for diving instead. Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rowen Doherty in the 45th minute of the match. 47 minutes into the game, Mauro Sena was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Grêmio Bulls's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Portugal the free kick. After a rather tough play, Grêmio Bulls's Mauro Sena got a free kick in the 47th minute.

The wind increased when Viriato Moura made the kick off in the second half. If Graciano Coutinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Rowen Doherty had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wilson Amorim dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. Grêmio Bulls's Pedrão Prata was substituted for Romulo Lehen. In the 66th minute, Pedrão Prata made a precise shot to the right of Wilson Amorim. Portugal's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-2. Portugal made a substitution. Felipinho Amorim replaced Felipe Barreto. Portugal made a substitution. Bartolomeu Dias replaced Viriato Moura. 72 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Pedrão Prata came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wilson Amorim didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rowen Doherty went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-2 was the resulting score. Wilson Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rowen Doherty, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pedrão Prata succeeded in the game's 77th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 6-2. Wilson Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedrão Prata, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Bartolomeu Dias was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 87th minute. Portugal's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 94th minute Pedrão Prata shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedrão Prata's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wilson Amorim read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. Portugal's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
